SCOTT M. LAUER, OD

Dr. Scott Lauer is a Parkersburg native who attended Parkersburg High School and Marshall University. Dr. Lauer graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1998 where he earned several clinical awards. While doing internships in Montana and Florida, and volunteer work in Costa Rica and Belize, Dr. Lauer has learned the most modern techniques in primary eye care and children's vision. He resides in Vienna and is a member of the Lions Club of Parkersburg, Knights of Columbus, American Optometric Association and West Virginia Optometric Association.
VICKI B. LAUER, OD

Dr. Vicki B. Lauer graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology from the University of South Florida, her home state. She is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry. During clinical rotations Dr. Lauer refined skills in contact lens fitting, treatment of ocular disease, and children's vision. As a Vienna resident Dr. Lauer has spoken to numerous organizations to spread visual health education. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, West Virginia Optometric Association and the Junior League of Parkersburg.
DOUGLAS L. CONRATH, OD

Dr. Douglas L. Conrath graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 1966, practiced with an ophthalmic surgeon in Huntington, WV for 2 years and then moved back to Parkersburg. He owned Vision Care Associates from 1981 until 2005 when he sold the practice to Drs. Scott and Vicki Lauer. Dr. Conrath's special interests are geriatric vision, computer vision, nutrition in vision and contact lenses. Dr. Conrath's community involvement includes former Jaycee, Masonic Lodge, Nemesis Shrine and Ben Bey Grotto. He is active in the American Optometric Association, West Virginia Optometric Association, Southern Council of Optometrists and the West Virginia Board of Examiners in Optometry.
